This inaugural costume-encouraged race starts at 7 AM from the Newpark Plaza. Dress up as your idea of a Sinner (please, no
nudity!) and have some fun in this limited-entry race, a fairly
flat loop course through the bike paths and quiet streets south
of the Plaza.
This course also
starts at the Newpark Plaza, and makes a loop through quiet
residential streets or bike paths. This is a
'costume-encouraged’ run, but please observe the following:
costumes should not impede the runner’s movements, vision or
hearing. Participants are responsible for their costume choices.
Also, please keep it PG, there’s kids running this race! There
will be three aid stations with toilets (another reason not to
have a fussy costume!)
This fun run will be
chip timed, but does not offer place or overall awards. There
will be awards for best male, female costumes that meet the
safety and modesty guidelines.
Sinner Six
participants will receive an embroidered runner cap--red, of
course!
100 people who book two nights at the host hotel on
Friday, August 20 & Saturday, August 21 will receive a $10 cash
rebate on the 2010 Sinner Six 10k. Limit two per room booking.
This offer is only good until the Newpark Hotel reaches
occupancy on these dates. Subject to verification of actual two
night Newpark Hotel stay on these dates. Cash rebate will be
provided at bag pick up at either location or day.
