Online Registration Click Here
2008 Registration is limited to 500 runners for each event; the Park City Marathon and the Park City half marathon.

Only 20 places left in the Marathon so register now! Online registration closes Wed. August 20.
The Half Marathon sold out as of June 25.

Sorry if you did not get registered before the half marathon sold out!... Our beautiful course uses some of Park City's fantastic network of paved and gravel trails, which are just 8' wide, so we must limit the number of runners to provide a safe and enjoyable race for everyone. So we have capped the number for safety, aid station supplies, our insurance and our permit to race from Summit County and Park City government. We could have planned a course that uses wide streets, but that just isn't how we want to showcase Park City's beauty. If you are already registered, enjoy a morning of pavement, gravel, wooden bridges, tunnels and wildlife!

Bands on the Course
For your enjoyment, we have three bands on the course!

The Taiko Drum Troupe will be
close to mile 13, where the rail trail crosses Bonanza
(aid station there too).

John Boy's Mule, up tempo
Bluegrass, will be at the McPolin
barn (mile 20 of the marathon, mile 4.5/7.5 of the half marathon).

The Best, rock 'n roll, at
the Swaner Barn (mile 23 of the marathon, mile 11
of the half marathon).

Same scenic course as last year
with the best of Park City Utah scenery, and an EIGHT MILE downhill finish!

The highway overpass is gone, and the Empire uphill becomes a fly-by downhill as you head for the finish. This alpine loop takes runners from picturesque farms and meadows alive with birdsong, into charming Old Town Park City, across a skier bridge and along both quiet residential streets and smooth, wide gravel paths on the downhill finish to the Newpark Fieldhouse at Kimball Junction. The new half marathon course is a scenic out and back design, largely on paved or gravel bike paths, over streams on wood plank bridges, and past the historic barn shown on our logo, with a great downhill finish. We guarantee a negative split time!
